We went to Petco to look at the animals, and only look:
Then we found baby betas and a $9 beta aquarium with the water conditioner, water detox (whatever that is), and food included. The kids showed me the one they wanted and when I looked in at it, it was looking at me with the cutest little eyes...oh! So cute! The kids named it Rex.
On the first morning after we bought Rex, I went to check on it and found 3-4 ants crawling on the aquarium and one was inside! I thought, "Oh no! They are trying to eat him!" and I started killing them with my fingers. But then I looked inside and found that Rex had already had breakfast. There was a dead ant at the bottom of the aquarium and Rex was eating another. Well, well, well, he's a tough little one! No need to worry over him, he can take care of himself!
